How my journey began
Hey there! I'm Kate. As a mom of three - my biological daughter and two stepsons—I get the rollercoaster ride of parenting. From navigating the challenges of trauma, sensory issues, anxiety, and ADHD to divorce and co-parenting in high-conflict situations, I've been there. I've experienced the highs and lows and the victories and trenches with my own kiddos. And I'm here to tell you: It’s okay, and you're not alone.
My journey has been a winding road, rooted in a lifelong pursuit of spirituality and a passion for helping others. My path has led me from my early days in musical theatre where I navigated the bustling streets of New York City, during and post-9/11, back to Georgia where I embraced a career in film and television. It was after a high conflict divorce followed by a high conflict coparenting situation that I discovered one of my true callings—supporting and empowering parents like us to love our children well. With a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and ongoing studies in Marriage and Family Therapy, I've immersed myself in understanding the dynamics of parenting, especially in challenging situations. I found Connected Families by the grace of God, and I've been deeply impacted by their approach to parenting with confidence and grace and the focus on heart transformation over behavior modification. As a certified Connected Families parent coach, I'm passionate about sharing the love of God through this transformative framework and helping you nurture your children's hearts (and perhaps your own) in the process. If you're seeking guidance or support during a difficult time (perhaps a divorce or high conflict coparenting situation), or a different way to approach parenting, I can help.
You are accepted here, just as you are. I’d be honored to walk this path with you, wherever you are. ♡

“
Kate was so wonderful to work with and put us at ease, which is so important when you’re discussing the little people you love most! She made us feel like we’d known her forever, and made it easy to let go of any shame we had when sharing any of the difficulties we had encountered in our parenting. The strategies the Connected Families program provides make so much sense and are easy to implement, and we love that it’s rooted in Scripture. We aren’t perfect and don’t always remember everything, but we have a great resource to fall back on with the workbook and Kate herself. We feel like we found not just an awesome parent coach, but a friend as well!
